Dear Sir Harry and Madam Ambassador,
Thank you for your visionary insights and collaborative works with PPCRV, as well as our meeting of the minds -- on the enormous power of media, now the social new media through the internet TV.
Let me share you our vision & new mission.
Backgrounder :
1. ABE & I , are 'Reuter babies' since our teen age years, having learned Fr. Reuter's history to bring the good news from the pulpit, to the stage, to radio then to the era of black & white TV to the print media.
2. After our 'Radio Bandido' People power 1 peaceful revolution , risking one's young life to bring the power of communications of Truth back to the people, we sensed that the good Lord will use us, as missionaries in communications. Thus, 'Tatang' supported us with a new mission.
3. Abe worked with Jesuit Communications , and did lobby for content creation for years, which they finally did after 2 decades. He the worked on the successful 'Cath-text-ism', push bible verses on mobile phones.
Then we met again on July,2007 wherein I with 29-ad.com , musicionaries for Gawad kalinga, was producing the Healing praise concert of Fr. Suarez at the ULTRA.
4. He intro the Internet TV and I thought, since my mother-in-law in Cebu was gravely ill, and maybe she will be healed through the healer and technology? So, I agreed to worked on its experimental test webcast. We both moved 'heaven on earth', with all the difficulties from telco non-to low upload bandwidth, to ULTRA 'broadcast fees', to non-techie unbelievers et al. to its ultimate challenge day.
" Five minutes before the concert we got the upload stream, then as the music started, healing musical event was 'Live' all over the net world, even on a stormy Saturday night, the bandwidth did not break. After three hours of praise and healing , on the last note , the power was cut," as Abe narrated.
" Lo and behold, after the event, on our chat board, many were overjoyed in thanksgiving for many were healed, and that includes ---my mother-in law ( like the story of Apostle Peter), " as I narrated this to our CFC-GK community.
5. So, Abe & I shared the new media to the CFC ,Gk Communities and to other corporate / org. clients.
Bong a & I shared this to the De la Salle community. They now learned , that technology is here and can be an instrument to showcase advocacy, global collaboration, education for all and their own community TV platform.
6. Now, on Tatang's 94 birthday instruction is for us to go Forward with the mission using the social new media, since Media . . .at the crossroads! His Philstar at 3a.m. article :
Pope Benedict XVI message for the World Day of Communications choosing the theme " The Media: at the crossroads between self-Promotion and Service. searching the Truth in order to Share it with Others."
He feels that modern media has become such a powerful force that it is shaping and fashioning the minds & hearts of all of us. It offers new possibilities for good, but at the same time opens up appalling possibilities for evil. Today, communication seems not to present reality, but to determine it . . . at times, media are used for the disseminating information, but to create events.
Social communications as the key challenge of the third millennium;
to respect human dignity ,
to have a special responsibility to promote respect for the family in all its beauty ,
must avoid to be the spokesmen for economic materialism, which is the scourge of our time.
seeking and presenting the Truth about humanity constitutes the highest vocation of social communication.
The new media- telecommunications and internet in particular -- are changing the very face of communication. The many refined and engaging techniques that the media have at their disposal is an exciting task, entrusted in the first place to managers and operators in the sector. Yet it concerns us all, because we are all consumers and operators of social communications in the era of globalization.
We must raise up courageous communicators who will commit themselves to the quest for truth and for developing communion between persons and among nations.
AS MISSION PARTNERS
So, this our humble story and our vision / mission in our open partnership with PPCRV and GNN, for you both share the 'at 3 a.m.' media . . article of Fr. Reuter in your good works.
We know its the Good Lord who drew the crooked lines into our engagement:
1. For how did Bong A. decided to resign from the corporate world and go back to graduate studies at APC, then meeting up Prof. Toti , then toti to be the pointman PPCRV I.T. volunteer , linking up with visionary-broadcaster Harry and to the convergence of the IT group, then to the approval of the 2010 poll automation and now to this week's presidential forum.
2. Sir Toti have presented the timeline , tasks ahead and the TIME limitations for the next phase,
educating the responsible voters. A massive multi media and organizational partnerships task for all.
This project is bigger than all of us , for at stake is our nation's honor and spirit that our global Filipinos will face and defend in their international works and 'missions'.
(After EDSA1, we were commissioned by Fr. Reuter to share to the FILAM youth the '400 years in 40 minutes' history of the Philippines as well as the spirituality of the Filipinos. Just like then Pres. Cory speech in the U.S. congress, we both stood proud in tears as the global community clapped in standing ovation, in praise for that one Shining moment of the Peaceful revolution by the Spirit-full Filipinos in 1986.)
Dear team, 'Do not be afraid for
I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS' !
We, the Radio bandido 86 are back with the good advocates to move and fulfill the mission again, now through the new social media , internet and telecommunications.
move forward ,

Eulogy message on behalf of the Guingon Family.
LIVE JESUS IN OUR HEARTS : HIS story through brother Gary G.
Dear Friends and Love ones,
Being with Christ in passion and gentleness, Edgardo 'Gary' Magno Guingon finally
'let go' of his earthly body for 53 years last June 18, 2009, on the eve of the Feast of The Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Gary had fatal stroke on June 12, the celebration of our Independence and we sense his ‘ultimate freedom’. His son, Paolo Brian, his caregiver for a decade, rushed him with kasambahay Rudy to nearby Salve Regina (Hail Holy Queen) hospital, for the emergency procedures. His brain scan showed a very serious threatening prognosis.
But with our new ‘skin’, our new lives with the Lord who lives in us,
giving us the 'Spirit', to guide and protect us, we shifted to the mode of:
Acceptance of our Journey of Faith,
Healing of minds and hearts of oneself and
Reliving upclose the greatest story of all, the passion, death & resurrection.
The first task was to call for a priest, Fr. Buboy of Christ the King arrived at the hour of Divine Mercy (3 p.m.), for the ‘anointing of the sick’ for our brother Gary. Truly the ultimate gift, empowering him of the Holy Spirit to seek the Light in his ultimate Journey to the heavenly kingdom.
We continue to serve, as we observe our our nine-day novena for the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Transforming his room into a healing hall, with praise, worship and healing music. The Family that prays together, stays together. Emer served as a lector and music minister with CFC -IC in a Charismatic Saturday mass at Christ the King . Son-Brian, Kuya Boyet, Jun & Ella had their private time with Gary.
We knew Gary G. is just waiting fervently for the arrival of his earthly jewels. His wife, Luvi from America, hopefully with his sons, Raphael and Mark and his eldest son, Glenn, from Dubai, who requested the full medication needs for his father.
Truly, on June 18 early morning, Glen arrived followed by Luvi, his two sons stayed and prayed in America. And so did our family, relatives, friends, churchmates, from Monsi Dan Sta. Maria to Bishop Raul of Christ the King, from Fr. Suarez to Father Reuter , communities from Catholic to Christians et al, through social networks from emails , facebook, twitter et al , globally , with traditional and technology tools , we all stormed the heavens through prayer power.
HIS Divine mercy showered us with his graces, after the 6 pm Angelus, and Luvi's utterance for Gary g. to 'let go' and follow the Light. At 6:15 p.m., Gary rested in peace. Finally, independence from earthly body unto the resurrection phase for 40 days.
God is truly awesome in His goodness. He draws in crooked lines. ‘Be still’, ‘Do not be afraid’ for I AM HERE. He is the producer / director of HIS story through Gary.
On June 19, 2009, on the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, after the Holy Eucharist presided by His reverence, Bishop Raul Martirez, his body was cremated at Loyola Marikina. We, the Guingons, in this 'difficult' times, are inspired by the 'Catholicity'of the Filipino soul, which has made our country richer than those of the West. This country may be poor in material things, but it's very rich in spirit, in its devotion to life, laughter & love.
June 19th, the natal day of our National hero, Fr. Reuter said that :
this spirit is best epitomized by Jose Rizal during his farewell to Josephine Bracken, who he married just before his martrydom, when he said that we Filipinos have only the land, the sea, the sun and rain and not much else, but in our nothingness, precisely, we have also discovered that we have each other.
Gary g. is our hero, aside from being the historical 'EDSA 1- channel 4' photographer in front of the tank, with his Corolla full body sticker of 'HINDI KA NAG-IISA' Yellow slogans. He is a brave rebel with a cause. He is a Fighter. He fought his illness to the fullest that resulted to our family's revival of 'bayanihan' and love for one another. Even during this financial crisis, we have Abundance of Love, from all of you and HIS most gracious and Sacred Heart. Totoo nga , "Hindi kami nag-iisa "!
Thank you for the prayers, service and love.
In the Green tradition, thank you for your Faith, service and communion.
Pls. omit flowers, direct your love offerings to Gary’s eldest son, Glen Guingon, a loving OFW / young son who labored for the sake of his father / brothers. Also, for his wife, Luvi, a global Filipino worker, a loving wife and Mother who labored for her ‘Joseph’ and four sons. We honor Brian, his caregiver-son, who like Apostle John stayed with Mary on the Cross.
On this Father’s day, June 20, 2009, here at the St. Joseph’s hall in Mount Carmel Church, our beloved parish, from our formative to married life years,
we are back to reunite and CELEBRATE as we thank our Good Lord, for HIS and YOUR PRESENCE in our lives.
We live you with Philippians 3: 3-14 ,
“Just one thing , forgetting what lies behind, moving forward in Hope,
toward the goal , the prize is Jesus”.
Live Jesus in our hearts, FOREVER!
the GUINGON family
